ID, a real photo, and a next-of-kin contact aren't box-ticking - they're what makes every person in this network someone you can actually trust and actually reach, including in an emergency. We ask the same of every driver, owner and commuter, no exceptions, so that trust runs both ways.

We use this to vet drivers and car owners - it is what keeps passengers safe. We are a registered company (LKA Holding Investments). Your ID is stored privately, used only to verify you, and is never shared or sold, in line with POPIA.

A clear photo of your face (selfie) — required

A clear photo of your face is required, for everyone's safety. Your driver needs to know who they are collecting, and you need to know who is collecting you — especially if your driver is ever changed. No guessing, no mix-ups. Your photo is stored privately and only shared with your driver.

Pick-up area (where you travel from)

Start typing your suburb and street, then tap your place from the list. Add the suburb so we find the right spot (e.g. "7th Avenue, Georginia"). You can check the spelling on Google first.

House / unit number at pick-up

The map finds your street, but not your exact house. Add your house or unit number so your driver knows the precise door (e.g. "8981" or "Unit 5").

Destination (where you work)

Start typing and pick it from the list, so we can map it exactly.

Building / company name or number at drop-off

So your driver knows exactly where to drop you (e.g. company name, building name, or street number).

Please note: to keep your fare affordable and your route running, our lift clubs use convenient common drop-off points near your workplace - like a taxi, but safer and more comfortable. Sometimes we may ask you to be dropped at a safe nearby point, a short walk from your exact door, so the route works for everyone sharing the car. If you are flexible on this, your route fills faster and starts sooner. If you cannot walk any distance from your drop-off, please tell us upfront so we can plan for you.

What time must you leave (pick-up time)?

We confirm the exact time with you and the driver before you start.
